Terms of Hireage

 ·         Beverages

Footbridge Lodge is fully licensed, however we do allow B.Y.O.  beer  (bottles or cans) and bottles of  wine. Kegs of beer or Wine casks are not permitted.  Spirits and liqueurs, if required, may be bought individually over the bar or other arrangements made with the Manager prior to the function.

                In keeping with Host Responsibility non-alcoholic beverages must be available to guests.
                i.e. Non-alcoholic punch, orange juice, soft drinks, low alcohol beer.  

                Functions lasting 8 hours may need to supply their guests with a light supper.  

·         Bond

Please note you are liable for any breakages or damage; a bond of $200 may be requested prior to the wedding date.

·         Liquor Licence

                Only Bar Staff employed by Footbridge Lodge are permitted to serve alcohol.

                Our licence requests that last drinks be served 30 minutes before finish time and
                music cease 20 minutes before. All guests must vacate the premises by 12 midnight Friday and Saturday,                    10.00pm  Monday - Thursday.

                The management reserves the right to discontinue the supply of liquor at any time, 
                pursuant to the Sale of  Liquor Act.

·         Smoking  

                Footbridge Lodge is Smoke free inside all buildings.  Illegal substances are not permitted on the property.

·         Decorations.  

Decorations in the Lodge and Chapel prior to the wedding are permitted. Two hours is set aside for this and must be arranged with the Manager. Excessive time will incur a fee.  Professional decorators must be in consultation with the Manager. Chapel & Lodge rooms are to be left as they were prior to decoration. Nothing is to be nailed, screwed or stapled or adhered to the walls or furniture unless prior approval is given

                Confetti, rice, glitter, rose petals or similar is not permitted in buildings or grounds.

·         Children

                As Footbridge is a working thoroughbred horse farm it may be hazardous to children,
                therefore children  are to be supervised at all times.  Footbridge Lodge management and staff 
                take no responsibility for children.   There are no separate rooms available for the care 
                or sleeping of children.

·         Responsibility.

                 All vehicles and other items of personal property are brought into Footbridge Lodge at the
                 risk of the owner.  Footbridge Lodge accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage 
                 howsoever caused to such  item.

                Direction or named signs on roadsides are not permitted by Franklin District Council.

                Patrons are requested to leave the property quietly as consideration to our neighbours.           

·         Payment is by Cash or Bank Cheque on the day preceding the wedding or personal cheque one week prior.
